After farewelling its service manager Mik Frawley in March, the Lighthouse Theatre will share the role with two staff members until a permanent replacement is found.
The acting service manager position will be filled by Amanda Kenneally and Xavier Dannock.
Warrnambool City Council manager of recreation and culture Russell Lineham said the decision was beneficial for the theatre.
“From now until December this year venue and marketing coordinator Amanda Kenneally will undertake the acting manager role and from December this year to May 2019 technical services coordinator Xavier Dannock will be acting manager.
“The position had been advertised but after much consideration it was felt that for the next year with the bulk of the theatre program already scheduled that Amanda and Xavier were well placed to have the opportunity to manage the Lighthouse.
“They are excited by the challenge and Council is confident that the Lighthouse is in good hands.”
