Mayor Robert Anderson invited all previous workers to attend the celebration.
“Warrnambool is a city with a strong sense of community and a place where people are happy to volunteer their time to help others, and Fun4Kids was a great example of this,” he said.
“Without the support of a fantastic group of volunteers, Fun4Kids would never have been possible.
“The festival provided real-world work experience for hundreds of high school and TAFE students and some of the creations the Triton Woodworkers helped kids to build still take pride of place in houses around Australia.
“I’d like to thank each and every volunteer for what they have achieved. They can all look back with pride on the hundreds of thousands of smiles they helped to create.”
The party is on at the Lighthouse Theatre Studio on Tuesday, June 26 from 5.30 to 7pm.
