“We only lost by five goals to last years premiers and by anyone standards, no matter what team you are that’s a good thing,” Arundell said after her sides 39-44 loss to the full-strength Saints.
“We take that as a huge positive for us especially, where we are sitting at the moment and considering our first half of the season we have only come away with the one win, so we were pretty happy with that effort.
“It also reaffirms the belief of the club that the juniors are the future of the club and that’s the way we will be looking.”
Arundell said the focus would be to give as much experience to her junior brigade as she can.
On Saturday the Bloods mentor was able to play quick under 15s player May Suhan and under 17s defender Alice Tanner. She said she was pleased with both players.
