Robertson has been forced to become an off-court leader since injuring her knee in round three.
“It is hard not being able to provide that leadership on court,” Robertson said.
“But watching from the side does let you see how the ball moves down the court a bit better. We have a really young team so I do get more of a chance to talk to and guide the girls during the game than I would if I was playing.”
On Saturday, Robertson watched on as her team recorded a 31-26 win over Kolora-Noorat at Mack Oval.
Little separated the teams all day, scores were level at quarter-time and half-time, with the visitors a goal in front at the final break.
But the Kangaroos answered the challenge, shooting 10 goals to four in the last quarter to win by five.
“We were flat in the first half so we made a few changes,” Robertson said.
“It was a really tough game and the girls showed a lot of resilience to get the win.”
Robertson praised the efforts of Stacy Dunkley, who moved from defence to attack, defender Micaela Eccles and goal shooter Sarah Robertson.
