Terang woman, 29, picked up for drug dealing

UPDATE, Wednesday, 7.20am: A TERANG woman has been remanded in custody charged with trafficking ice.

Sarah Godwin, 29, of Thomson Street, Terang​, and previously Crawley Street, Warrnambool, did not apply for bail in the Warrnambool Magistrates  Court on Tuesday. 

She was remanded in custody until a bail application which has been scheduled for June 22.

Ms Godwin was already on charges of burglary and theft prior to being intercepted by police ​in Warrnambool's Raglan Parade ​about midnight Monday.

She was charged with trafficking ​ice and associated offences. 

Lawyer Belinda Northey has also organised for her client to be assessed for the Court Integrated Services Program to help her try and get bail.

Tuesday: A 29-YEAR-OLD woman has been remanded in custody after being caught with drugs just before midnight on Monday.

Acting Sergeant Ben Timpson, of the Warrnambool police, said the woman has been charged with possessing and trafficking illicit substances after being pulled over in Raglan Parade at 11.50pm.

The Terang woman was already on bailed charged with other offending.

She will appear in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court for a bail/remand hearing on Tuesday.
