An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said paramedics were called to the scene about 3.40pm.
“They’ve assessed the woman, who was initially trapped at the scene,” the spokeswoman said.
“She has since been freed and taken to hospital.”
The spokeswoman said she sustained minor injuries to her upper body and was in a state of shock but was in a stable condition.
Port Fairy police Sergeant Mick Wolfe said the cause of the accident, which occurred on a straight section of road near The Crags, was being investigated.
He said a person travelling behind the vehicle assisted the woman, who was in shock, until emergency service personnel arrived.
