Detective Sergeant Andy Raven, of the Warrnambool police crime investigation unit, said the business in Camperdown’s Manifold Street was broken into and the cash register stolen on February 19.
Security camera footage of suspected offenders led to police arresting 26-year-old Terang man Luke Edward Bosworth.
He has been charged with burglary, attempted burglary, theft, theft of a car, driving while disqualified and using and possessing ice.
Police allege Mr Bosworth was involved in smashed a window and stealing a cash register which was later found dumped at a Boorcan metal recycling business.
It’s alleged the offenders used a stolen car to commit the offences.
