DAMNING evidence on a mobile phone of a Geelong district man travelling at 200km/h at night - without his headlights on - has led to serious driving charges.

Warrnambool police Sergeant Tom Morris said the 48-year-old man from Corio was already on bail when he was intercepted by police early on Saturday morning in Warrnambool's Timor Street.
He was searched at 4.10am and police officers found empty deal bags, an ice pipe, ice and three ecstasy tablets in a sunglasses case.
The man was also carrying $7835 in cash which was seized by police.
He has been charged with possessing, using and trafficking drugs and possessing the proceeds of crime - the cash.
"There was also damning evidence found on his mobile phone, a recording of him driving at 200km/h without his headlights on," Sergeant Morris said.
That evidence led to the man being charged with reckless conduct endangering life at Hamlyn Heights in suburban Geelong on April 30.
The man will appear in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court on Monday for a bail/remand hearing.
