“Our game against South Rovers was a bit lacklustre and we needed a boost to show that we could play good netball and that we can't let things get in our way,” she said after the 54-28 victory.
Robertson said there was also positives for the future with under 17s players Amy Morton, 16, and Kiana Brock, 16, debuting in the A grade.
“They played really well,” she said of the young pair.
“Amy came across to us from East a year ago and she is just growing and growing each game she plays and in my under 17s she is an amazing leader and you could just see that she continued it in A grade. Kiana just stepped up and collected turnover after turnover and she showed she is a really strong defender.
“For them to be top aged under 17s and going into the senior grades next year won't be so much of a shock, as they won’t be worried about stepping up next year.”
Keely Price (20 goals), Sarah Robertson and Mahni Wright (17), were on song in the shooting circle for the Roos, while Rachel Jaynes (14 goals) and Alana Rahui (12) scored majority of the Bombers’ 28 goals.
