The Cats mentor is pleased with what his side is capable of after the comfortable 13.13 (91) to 6.8 (44) victory over Dennington on Saturday.
“We now know we can play four quarters of footy and the boys are all convinced in their teammates’ ability and they have all realised that we can play a good brand of footy and that we can take it to most sides,” he said.
Price said the Cats’ next few games would test how his side was progressing.
“Our next few weeks will be tough, as we have Timboon, Kolora-Noorat, then Nirranda and then Old Collegians,” he said. “That gives us the chance to play the sides that are all above us and if we want to play finals footy we have to beat these sides.”
Price was pleased with the efforts of Travis Membrey, who was named best on ground for the Cats.
