First-year Bloods coach Lisa Arundell is bullish about their progress despite a 0-5 start to the Hampden open grade netball season.
Arundell said Terang Mortlake, which plays Hamilton Kangaroos on Saturday, was determined to “keep forging ahead”.
“We always knew this would be a rebuilding season and we’re under no illusions,” she said.
“We trialled some new combinations before the break against North Warrnambool, so we’ll have another look.
“With some of our games there’s been quite a difference in scores but we’ve come out and had a red-hot go.”
Gabby Beaver will miss again with an ankle injury. Jess Davis will step up from division one to help bolster the Bloods’ attack.
