The Bombers are on top of the A grade netball ladder after five wins to start the 2018 season.
Two of the stars of this flying start are sisters Rachael and Brooke Mibus.
Both girls have risen through the ranks at Penshurst and are making their mark at the league’s highest level.
Penshurst netball coaching coordinator Nat O’Dea said the Mibus sisters were a great story for the club.
“The girls are going to university in Geelong but they have made the commitment to come back and play, so it is great they are getting the rewards for that hard work,” O’Dea said.
“Their dedication is second to none, they have made a great transition to A grade.”
Both girls are part of the Bombers defence with Rachael holding down the goal keeper post and Brooke at wing defence.
This week, the Bombers are up against close-town rivals Glenthompson-Dunkeld.
“It’s always a tough game, players from both clubs get themselves up and want to do their best,” O’Dea said.
