The Warrnambool-based speedway star spent one season driving for the Western Australian team with mixed results.
Veal said it was “a mutual agreement in the end” to split with Krikke Motorsport.
The 2016 Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic champion will focus his attention on delivering results in his number 35 SWI Racing car throughout the 2018-19 Australian season.
“It’s always good to be back in the family car,” he said.
“There’s a fair few people who are excited about it too.
“We went OK in our car (last season) – we won at Easter and a few other events.
“It was hard going between both (our car and Krikke’s). It was complicated.”
Veal replaced long-time Krikke Motorsport driver and three-time Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic winner Brooke Tatnell.
The team is yet to announce Veal’s replacement.
Veal is busy preparing for an stint in the United States.
The 2015-16 World Series Sprintcars champion will fly to Knoxville in July for a month-long visit where he will drive a family car “built and manufactured in Australia”.
He will start his Australian campaign in Darwin in August as he strives to become a regular fixture on the podium once more.
Veal said he had high hopes.
“We’re hoping for a more consistent January,” he said.
“This year in January in World Series Sprintcars we weren’t that good, so we want a stronger summer period.
“We had an OK start and end of the season but in the middle we faded so we want to get on top of that and be pretty good.”
