The North Warrnambool Eagles swingman will play with Matt, who returns for his first game of the season following an overseas trip.
Eagles coach Graeme Twaddle said Adam “was like a spiritual leader at the club”. “We relish having him in our leadership group from a coaching perspective,” he said.
“He’s an amazing character.”
Twaddle said the Eagles were thrilled to have Matt back in their line-up as they attempt to overcome an in-form Camperdown at Leura Oval.
“He is an on-ground leader and he gives us a little bit more stability in the midfield,” he said.
“We know he’ll get his hands on the ball first a lot of the time and give us first option.”
Twaddle said the Eagles, winless after two rounds, knew their improvement needed to come from their outside players.
