“Our attitude is right, our intensity is right, we’re playing to team structures – we just need icing on the cake,” he said ahead of the winless Blues’ round three clash against Port Fairy at Gardens Oval.
“It’s a big game for us. If we play well we’ll be more competitive and we can win it.
“We have to play our best footy and we haven’t put that together yet.
“We need to eliminate skill errors – kick, mark, handball.”
Warrnambool has elevated midfielder-wingman Liam Bishop with O’Brien describing their inclusion as “a skillful, smart player who is quite fit”.
Bishop replaces the injured Ben Fleming who is out with an ankle complaint.
