“Name five giant everyday apparatuses that feature in our show,” he said.
The call out came on Thursday after the team of 11 were busy adding the finishing touches to their city shows.
The two-hour acts will see acrobats combining physical feats with theatrics, choreography, live music and over-sized props, all with a touch of humour.
Mr Silvestro said the show entitled ‘Model Citizens’ would include at least five out-of-scale, ordinary items designed to challenge perspective and concepts of normality.
“The giant pieces, seen in our everyday lives, will transform into circus props right before your eyes.”
Event organisers are promising to ‘wow’ their all-ages crowds, with show director Annie Davey saying ticket-holders could expect a unique, memorable experience.
“It’s funny, wacky and hilarious,” she said. “We play to anyone from eight year-olds to 80 year-olds.”
Ms Davey said the troops were well-trained and hailed from the National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA).
“Many of the performers are graduates from the circus training school in Melbourne so their skills come from dance, acrobatics, gymnastics and acting backgrounds.
Circus Oz will perform 7.30pm Friday and 2pm Saturday at Warrnambool’s Lighthouse Theatre.
