Joe Wensley, Cullen Gaby and Dean Finlayson will pull on the blue and white for the first time when the Kangaroos host Allansford.
Merrivale is set to unleash Cale Jarvis, who will be playing with his brother Kyden for the first time, and Luke Williams against Kolora-Noorat.
The Bulldogs will let fresh-faced under 17 pups in Will Black and Callan Hadfield against East Warrnambool, as both sides look to secure their first win of the season. Brad Gedye, another debutant from the under 17s, will start as the sub against the Bombers.
Russells Creek coach Heath Moloney said that the Kangaroos’ three debutnants had worked hard to secure their spots in the side.
“They bring a lot of speed and have been training really hard and have earned their spot in the side with their performances,” the second-year coach told The Standard.
“It will be just about them getting their hands on the footy early and settling into the game.”
Russells also welcomes back Blake Evans, while the Tigers welcome back a host of senior players in playing coach Jason Rowan, Sam Gleeson, James Kelly and Kyden Jarvis.
Rowan said that Matthew Dowd (calf soreness) and Josh Sobey (ankle soreness) would be rested against the Power this weekend.
Kolora-Noorat will be without Ben Kenna (knee), Ben Walsh (quad) and Luke Tebble (hamstring) who are all injured.
Injury has also effected Panmure at the selection table with Daniel Ryan (corked knee), Tyson Hay (rolled ankle) and Lachlan McLeod (soreness) watching from the sidelines this weekend.
Timboon has bolstered its side for its battle with the undefeated Old Collegians, bringing in experienced campaigners James Plant, Leigh McKenzie and Andrew Clements after unavailability kept them out of the side.
Dennington has made two changes, bringing in Charlie McDonald and Pat Keane, while its opponent South Rovers have made one change with Corey McLaren taking Tate Gardiner’s spot in the side for Saturday’s game.
