A MOTORCYCLIST died in a collision with a vehicle towing a caravan at Ondit, near Colac, on Wednesday.

Investigators have been told the male rider was travelling north along Colac-Ballarat Road on Wednesday morning and attempted to overtake a car on the single carriageway.
As he was doing so, the vehicle in front of the car being overtaken, which was towing a caravan, began making a right-hand turn into a driveway.
The motorcyclist collided with the turning vehicle.
The man, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the accident scene.
No one else was injured during the collision.
Colac-Ballarat Road was closed between Ryans Road and Ondit-Warrion Road.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
