That was North Warrnambool Eagles coach Dot Jenkins’ summation of their convincing 66-36 Hampden open netball victory over Portland on Sunday.
“In the end I gave Kira Bussell as our best but it was seriously a day where you could ask seven different people and they’d all give you someone different,” she said.
“You don’t win like that without everyone playing well.
“A positive for me was we got in front and kept building.
“Sometimes when you get in front a team lightens off and we didn’t do that.
“As team we really committed to playing four quarters and that’s what we did.”
Jenkins said the new-look Tigers “to their credit dug in and kept going”.
A calf injury to midcourter Elisha Carter, who was hurt in the opening term, was the only blemish for the Eagles.
In other games, reigning premier Koroit was too strong for Hamilton Kangaroos, winning 51-36, and Port Fairy dismantled Terang Mortlake 52-26.
Both the Saints and Seagulls remain undefeated.
