IT’S not every day a koala makes his way into the Warrnambool CBD.
But this koala had an early start on Saturday morning after he was spotted at the corner of Kepler and Timor Street.
Dee Sanders came across the koala at 5.30am when she was having her morning walk.
She said the koala didn’t appear scared and she ushered him along Kepler Street until he made his way up a tree.
She said she contacted Warrnambool police who said they would inform Wildlife Victoria.
It’s the second time a koala has been spotted in Warrnambool in the past week.
On Tuesday a koala was rescued from a home in South Warrnambool.
