Dance: Do Ya Wanna Dance is hosting its annual Weekend Dance Festival. The three-day event runs Friday 8pm to 11.30pm, Saturday 8pm to 12am and Sunday 11am to 3pm at venues across the city.

Festival: The old Callaghan Motors site on Fairy Street will be home to the inaugural Warrnambool Food Truck and Street Food Festival. The event includes free entry and offers an array of vendors offering food, face-painting, drinks and live music. The three-day event will run from Friday from 6pm to 12am, Saturday between 12pm and 3pm and again from 6pm to 12am and on Sunday from 12pm to 8pm.
Outdoor cinema: Camperdown’s Lakes and Craters will host a screening of the film Going in Style at an Outdoor Cinema between 6pm and 10pm. The CFA fundraiser will include a two-course barbecue and drinks at bar prices from Camperdown Cricket Club. BYO chairs, rugs, blankets.
Theatre: Warrnambool’s Lighthouse Theatre will host The Australian Theatre for Young People’s production of A Town Named War Boy on Friday at 11am.
SATURDAY
Arts: The Warrnambool Art Gallery is hosting an arts funding forum for artists and community groups to help navigate funding applications. The event begins at 10am.
Drags: The Warrnambool and District Drag Racing Association is hosting a Test ‘n’ Tune Fun Day on Saturday from 10am.
SUNDAY
Beach: The Sea Shepherd Marine Debris Campaign is hosting a beach clean at Warrnambool’s Breakwater from 10.45am.
Bridal: The 2018 Warrnambool Wedding Festival will be held at the Wannon Rooms at the Greyhound Racing Club from 10am.
Walk: Oxfam’s Warrnambool Group is hosting an ocean walk from 1.30pm. The event will start and finish at Roxburgh Court with proceeds to refugees in Bangladesh.
Climb: Derrinallum’s Mount Elephant will be open to the public between 1pm and 4pm.
WDNFL: Warrnambool and District league rivals Merrivale and Nirranda clash in the Worksafe Victoria game of the month at Merrivale Recreation Reserve on Sunday. Netball will start at 1.50pm with football to start at 2.20pm.
ANZAC DAY
HFNL: Hampden league clubs Portland and Hamilton Kangaroos resume their Anzac Day tradition at Hanlon Park, open netball starts at 1.30pm and the senior football at 3.30pm.
