The Koroit Irish Festival committee is calling for red heads to unite for the Flaming Folk march on April 28.
Committee member Adele MacDonald said the Flaming Folk march was a chance for red-headed people of all shades to pay homage to their uniqueness.
Ms MacDonald said having red hair was synonymous with Ireland, and the march was open to all red-headed festival goers, despite heritage.
Entrants are to gather at the Koroit Theatre at 11.30am on the Saturday of the festival and participate in the parade.
The Flaming Folkperson of the Year will be presented on stage and will receive more than $300 of prizes.
