Over the years the Sungold Field Days has grown to become one of Victoria’s premier agricultural events and we are proud to showcase such a vast range of agricultural machinery and the latest in dairy innovations. It is a perfect opportunity for dairy industry suppliers to speak directly with the farmers local to the region, and the farmers are always sure to find a Sungold Field Days bargain.
The Dairy Industry is our biggest industry in the region, and our service industries are always there to support agriculture. There will be an abundance of new technology released at the Field Days that will be of great benefit to farmers and of interest to everyone.
Over the last 12 months, prices for beef, sheep and wool have hit record heights, while dairying is looking solid and we have experienced one of our best growing seasons ever. This adds up to what should be a wonderful 2018 Sungold Field Days.
The 2018 event will have a full entertainment program for all three days, complementing the range of exhibits on show. Entertainment will include a music stage with local talent Cooper Lower and Nancie Schipper, and Rhys Crimmins coming from Melbourne.
The Western District Axemen are returning for the second time with wood chopping demonstrations three times a day in the food court, and for the first time we welcome Whip Cracking sisters Madi and Kiera Buzza of the West Side Whipcrackers. Madi and Kiera will not only show you their skills, but provide the opportunity for you to have a go at the fine art of whipcracking.
This year patrons will have the opportunity to win a 6 Day South Australian Flinders Ranges coach tour by entering in the gate prize. Tickets are available through the Sungold Field Days website or can be purchased at the gate.
May the sun shine brightly, and the rain come at night, for the 2018 Sungold Field Days.
