A decision to postpone the 30-lap Saturday night feature was made at 12.30am Sunday morning when rain began to fall again just as the drivers were warming up on track.
The feature will be run at 4pm on Sunday with Mailors Flat’s Peter Doukas on pole from Simpson’s John Vogels and American Jason Johnson.
2017 Classic winner James McFadden will start from 12th.
The postponed feature will kick-start a big final night schedule with a round of heats, a D-Main, two C-Mains, two B-Mains and a 40-lap A-Main to round out the three-day event.
Rain impacted the Saturday program heavily with the first of 12 heats starting at 9pm. The final heat was completed at 10.55pm.
Parker Price-Miller, Jason Johnson, Grant Anderson, Brad Warren, John Vogels, Luke Oldfield, Matt Dumesny, Brendan Guerin, Carson Macedo, David McKay, Jock Goodyer and Brock Hallett scored heat wins.
