Bignell’s comeback to the Bulls side follows time spent working in Queensland.
Pomborneit captain Mick Townsend believes Bignell’s inclusion is a massive return for the Bulls, who sit just outside a finals spot occupied by its opponents Cobden.
“We are really excited to have him back,” the all-rounder said.
“He will strengthen the top order a lot, as well as our bowling, and he is a good fielder, too. So he is a good pick up for us.”
“With the inclusion of him I think we will be a fairly strong side for the rest of year.”

Townsend is feeling confident with how his side is shaping up for the critical clash with Cobden that could decide the SWCA division one finals.
”We are feeling pretty good about this week,” he said.
“We all need to bring our A-game to get the win to get us into the top four.
“With our bowling we have to focus on bowling to our strengths and to our game plan.
“With our batting we want to make sure we can bat our overs out and make a strong score.”
