Ute destroyed in fire, police call is arson chemist
HAMILTON police have requested an arson chemist determine the cause of a fire which destroyed a $47,000 Mitsubishi Triton ute.

A spokesman said the fire started at about midnight Monday at a Lodge Road address and the dual cab utility was completely destroyed.
The burnt out vehicle is being treated as a crime scene.
Anyone with information about the cause of the fire, or who saw anything suspicious in the Lodge Road area about midnight on Monday, is requested to contact the Hamilton police station.
