STACEY O’SULLIVAN (nee Batt) played over 300 games in the Hampden league, over 200 of these for her beloved Koroit Football Netball Club, before retiring from the court in 2013. She farewelled an extensive sporting career including 10 premierships (seven with Koroit and three with Warrnambool) and a HFNL life membership in 2017.

The Illowa mother-of-four has also been the manager of the Port Fairy Day Spa since its inception in 2004. A business that is continuing to grow, planning extensive renovations during 2018.
What do you most love about Illowa? It’s out of town but still so close to beach, and in the middle of Port Fairy, Koroit and Warrnambool.

What do you wish you knew more about? Technology.
What job would you be terrible at? Childcare.
What career did you want to pursue when you were a teenager? Real estate agent.
If you didn’t have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time? Excercise.

What is something people might not know about you? My real name is Anastasia.
If you could choose to go back 100 years or forward 100 years, what would you do and why? I’d go forward to see the progress in medicine.
What recipe are you renowned for cooking for family or friends? Mongolian lamb.
What songs have you completely memorised? Salt and pepper - ‘Push it’.
What is the best piece of advice you've been given? Life is not fair (I always say it to my kids now).
Do you have a motto you live by? Everything happens for a reason.
Where do you see yourself in 20 years? Hopefully travelling.
