Featuring the best of Victoria and South Australia’s low-fi, organic and boutique wines, the festival in the Ozone Walk, off Koroit Street, will showcase 44 different wines.
Bar owner Will Shepherd, fresh from throwing a fun New Year’s Eve festival at his Warrnambool laneway bar, said the two states would go head-to-head in the search for the perfect drop.
“We are highlighting the best-of-the-best wines,” he said.
“Come along, try something new. You might just discover your new favourite drink.
Mr Shepherd said there was wine from the Adelaide Hills, through to regional Victoria.
He said there would also be a feature on female wine makers. The festival kicks off with wine tastings from 1pm on Saturday, January 13.
There will also be live music and DJs and food by award winning restaurant Pickled Pig and popular baker and pastry maker Jane Dough.
