“It’s a double game for us in terms of ladder positions,” Bourke said.
“We have had a good couple of weeks and I would like to continue that good form into this week.
”We also have a few good players coming back into our side including Bernie Harris which is a bonus.
“Pat Heffernan has also been in fine form with the bat and that adds even further to the confidence myself and my team have going into this game.”
The hurdle in front of Bourke and his team is the in-form batter of the competition Simon Baker.
Baker is averaging 64.33 at number 4 for the Pelicans.
“Hopefully we get a chance to get Simon out early,” Bourke said.
“He is one of the best batters in this competition and if we don’t get him out before 20, he will be very difficult to dislodge after that.
“Getting him out early makes winning much easier.”
