Dance: Melissa Dance’s Elements Studio is hosting its annual Christmas Concert at Warrnambool’s Lighthouse Theatre on Friday at 7pm and Saturday 2pm.
SATURDAY
Toys: The Warrnambool Toy Run will travel from Rafferty’s Tavern, through Koroit and Port Fairy to arrive at Lake Pertobe by 2.30pm. A community barbecue will follow with a special appearance by Santa.
Boxing: The Warrnambool Stadium will host ‘War in the ‘bool’ on Saturday. Both amateurs and professional fighters will compete for top honours from 3pm, including Warrnambool’s ‘Sugar’ Neekz Johnson, who is chasing the WBA Oceania belt.
Dance: Warrnambool and District dance group are presenting an Old Time Christmas Dance at the Temperance Hall on Koroit Street from 8pm to midnight.
Leila Rose: The Leila Rose Foundation is hosting its Christmas Ball at the Warrnambool Racecourse on Saturday. Live entertainment, drinks and canapes will be served at the annual fundraising event from 6pm.
Piano: Jonathan Cox will be performing musicals and movies at a piano recital at Warrnambool’s Mozart Hall on Saturday from 7.30pm.
Open: The new private saleyards, the Western Victorian Livestock Exchange at Mortlake, will be open to the public from 10am to 2pm. A gold coin donation for entry will go to St Colman’s Primary School and Mortlake P-12.
SUNDAY
Triathlon: Warrnambool Triathlon Club hosts its pairs event on Sunday from the Hopkins River Blue Hole at 9am.
