Witnesses said a white Toyota four-wheel-drive heading west along the Princes Highway was involved in a collision with a small white Citroen sedan which turned onto the highway off Garibaldi Lane at Allansford.
Two women believed to be aged in their 40s and an 11-year-old child, who were all travelling in the Citroen, were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the Toyota was not injured.
The Citroen received significant damage to the driver’s side, while the Toyota was impacted on the front passenger side of the vehicle.
Police investigations into the cause of the accident are continuing.
Any witnesses are requested to contact the Warrnambool police station on 5560 1333.

Two Melbourne women in their 40’s and a child aged 11 have been taken to hospital for assessment after suffering minor injuries.
The driver of the second vehicle, in their 30’s and from Terang, is unharmed.
Police are urging drivers to find alternate routes while tow truck drivers clear the debris.
