Serle blasted 135 in the Roosters’ 192-run demolition of Mailors Flat and backed it up with 60 in their win over Killarney on Sunday.
Wangoom scored an impressive 2-274 in 18 overs against the Jets.
Andrew Malone (55) and Heath Anderson (57) complemented Serle.
“We got going early and our ground is pretty small so we hit a lot of sixes and boundaries,” Serle said.
“It was a big score and it was good to see.”
Serle said he was proud of the Roosters’ response after they were bundled out for 101 on day one of their two-day clash with Panmure on Saturday. The Grassmere association used its twenty20 carnival to pay tribute to stalwart John ‘Jakes’ McDonald who passed away on Wednesday, aged 88.
