Entertainers are being given a chance to perform in Warrnambool’s main street.
Warrnambool City Council is calling for expressions of interest from musicians/buskers, artists or anyone who is interested in performing in the city centre during December and January.
City renewal placemaking officer Helen Sheedy said an artist could set up an easel and demonstrate their painting or musicians could busk.
“It’s about making our main street a place where people want to come and spend time,” she said.
People will not be paid for their shows, however, hats or guitar cases will be permitted to collect donations.
To submit an expression of interest or for more information, email events@warrnambool.vic.gov.au and get in touch with the council’s events team.
Expressions of interest to apply for a performance position close at 5pm on Friday, November 24.
