Woolsthorpe managed just 30 runs in its first innings against Killarney last week, a result Bridge described as “one of those days”.
But the experienced campaigner believes the club’s influx of experience and mental fortitude will help Woolsthorpe bounce back to winning ways on Saturday.

Bridge identified runs as a key commodity against a depleted Hawkesdale outfit which has remained competitive despite player exits in the off-season.
“Batting and getting runs on the board wins you games,” the former Russells Creek all-rounder said.
“We’ll have a couple missing this week, which is a bit of a shame because we were hopeful of getting the full side out there.
“Our bowling is going all right – we’ve got a bit of that variety in there now – so we’re hoping to bounce back.”
The second-year Woolsthorpe captain said several additions in the off-season – including Jason Alberts, Steve Blacker and Joey Whitton – had eased pressure on the outfit. Bridge said the new-look side was gelling well and that they were positive about securing a Grassmere Cricket Association finals berth.
