The 15 South West TAFE Visual Arts students will host an inaugural exhibition of their works at the Warrnambool Art Gallery until November 26.
A combination of print, paint, film, textiles and performance make up the 15 pieces on display.
Gallery curator Ren Gregoric said the exhibition was a valuable opportunity for the students to prepare for life in the arts sector.
“All of the works were created in the last 12 months and represent where artists are at this point in their career,” he said.
“The exhibition gives the artists a time and space to develop their skills and it provides a bridge between student and artist.”
The Peter Lucas Memorial Art Prize will be awarded to one of the exhibiting artists during the launch.
South West TAFE Graduating Exhibition 2017 launches on Sunday, November 12 between 1pm and 3pm.
