The riders stopped at Warrnambool on Thursday on their way to the Great Ocean Road.
The ride was inspired by Rob Bradley’s wife, Cindy Farran, who died from cancer in 2015. She was 32.
Mr Bradley, from Melbourne, said so far they had been met with a head wind for the majority of the ride.
“It has been pretty windy,” he said.
“And there’s been lots of log trucks.”
Ms Farran’s father, Jim Farran, who is also doing the ride and said they were raising money for the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre where Ms Farran worked as a nurse.
“Cindy was a really caring person,” he said.
“If we can help save one person, well I think it’s worth the effort.”
