Glenelg Shire councillor Anita Rank has been re-elected for a second term as mayor. The Portland-based councillor, who first joined the chamber in 2012, was re-elected unopposed at Wednesday’s statutory meeting. The active community volunteer said she was humbled to be returned for a second consecutive term. “I am extremely grateful to my council colleagues to be provided with this opportunity to serve for a second term,” Cr Rank said. She was recognised for her advocacy efforts.
