Koroit show secretary Julie Houlihan lives in Kirkstall and is married to Tony. They own and operate the Kirkstall Hotel and have two children, Rachael and Paddy. Julie has always lived in the south-west and enjoys volunteering with various groups. “I tend to get bored so I am on numerous committees, which are mainly horse related,” she said. “Apart from horses, I like to do different arts and crafts, so long as it doesn't involve sewing.”

Do you sleep talk or sleep walk? Neither.
If you could choose to go back or forward 100 years what would you do and why? I’d go back 100 years and be a cowgirl on a property.
What recipe are you renowned for cooking for family or friends? Lasagna or spaghetti bolognaise.
If you had all the time in the world to pursue and perfect any hobby what would it be? Horses whether it be showing or race horses.
When and where are you your most happiest? With my family and friends, as long as we are together.
What is the best piece of advice you've been given? Treat people as you would like to be treated.
Do you have a motto you live by? You will always know where you stand with me.
Where do you see yourself in 20 years? Hopefully helping my grandchildren hopefully at a horse show and still being involved on numerous committees.
