The A-main victory was Veal’s second from the opening three rounds of the SRA series – he crashed out in the finale of the Moama race a fortnight ago.
Under the new lights at Allansford’s Premier Speedway on Saturday, Veal locked in a compelling battle with reigning track champion Darren Mollenoyux, while another Warrnambool driver in Corey McCullagh also challenged.
Veal took the win from Mollenoyux, with three-time World Series Sprintcars champion James McFadden in third.
