The premiership-winning coach has been named the Hampden Regional Football Coaches Association 2017 senior coach of the year.
McLaren, who led the Saints to 16 wins during the home and away season en route to their fourth consecutive senior Hampden flag.
He previously coached the side in 2011 and 2012, and has coached the club’s under 18.5 side in 2009-10, as well as coaching Hampden’s interleague team in 2015-16.
Kolora-Noorat under 14.5 coach Paul Dunn has been named the region’s youth/junior coach of the year.
The Power’s former junior development officer has coached the Warrnambool and District club’s junior team the past two seasons, leading them to a preliminary final in 2016 and a premiership this year.
Women’s footy ambassador and South Warrnambool Roosters youth girls coach Alicia Drew was named the female coach of the year.
South Warrnambool’s Darren Lynch was named the Auskick co-ordinator of the year for his role in overseeing the centre’s steady growth.
