During his third visit to the south-west this year, Mr Andrews said he understood the issue well.
“I haven't had an opportunity to visit there yet, but I do hope to get there at some point in the future,” he said.
Mr Andrews said it was too early to start making budget announcements, but his government had made big investments in education.
“I do appreciate that parents at the Warrnambool SDS are upset as well,” he said.
“We need to fix this, and we’re doing the work so we can be ready to make sure it can be properly considered in the budget next year.”
