The placemaking exercise is the first of many to happen in the CBD in a bid to enliven public spaces and make them more fun and memorable.
Graphic designer Sinéad Murphy will have a flower stall at 147 Liebig Street from 8am, for as long as stocks last, to chat about placemaking and how it can improve people’s experiences in the city.
“The concept’s not really new,” Miss Murphy said.
“It happens in other cities. It’s about livening up public spaces to make them more usable. It’s about making these spaces more attractive physically and creating experiences as well.”
