The day will be held at the Port Fairy campus and will include a cooking demonstration from celebrity chef Janelle Bloom. Tours will also be conducted of the new community health centre. A free barbecue, stalls and face painting will also be part of the day.
The Australian Hearing bus will be on site.
Manager of Australian Hearing Warrnambool Chelsea Scott said it was common for people to be unaware their hearing was failing.
“A hearing check is a quick and easy way to measure the sounds you can and can’t hear,” Ms Scott said.
Sixty per cent of Australians over 60 have some hearing loss.
The day will run from 11.00am to 2.30pm.
