We will be moving to a new Warrnambool office later this year.
The Standard, the voice of the south-west for 145 years, will leave its existing premises on Raglan Parade for a modern office at 68 Kepler Street.
Work has begun to transform the building formerly home to bedding store Snooze.
Editor Greg Best said the move was an exciting new chapter for The Standard.
"The new office will better suit the needs of our reporters, photographers and sales staff in the rapidly evolving digital era," Best said.
He said more people than ever before were consuming The Standard's locally-produced content online, in print and through social media.
"This move is an important investment from The Standard and a vote in confidence in Warrnambool’s revamped central business district."
The Standard has been in Raglan Parade for the past 10 years.
