The WDCA has named a 19-man squad, which will be cut to 12 midweek, to take on Greenvale at Mack Oval.
With the poor weather ruling out turf wickets for the time being, the representative squad will play on the hard wicket at Mack Oval.
Greenvale is bringing two other teams down, with one set to take on Allansford on Allansford’s hard wicket, while the other will face Russells Creek at Warrnambool College.
The WDCA squad for the practice match is: Nathan Murphy, Mark Murphy, Jacob Brooks (Brierly-Christ Church), Cam Williams, Jimmy Elford (Russells Creek), Ben Evans, Ryan McArdle, Tom Bowman (Wesley-CBC), Tom Batten, Hank Schlaghecke, Alex Jennings (Woodford), Jason Mungean, Brody Couch, Steve Castles (Nirranda), Caleb Bidmade, Jacob Hetherington, Geoff Williams (Nestles), Alastair Templeton and Sam Younghusband (West Warrnambool).
