The club’s 17 and under netballers will be striving to replicate their feats from 2013 and 2015, when the core group of players claimed 13 and under and 15 and under flags.
Demons coach Bess Errey lauded the group’s consistency and determination had helped them stay at peak competitiveness throughout the junior ranks.
“They’re also very disciplined as a team, which helps,” she said. “They’re very strong in defence. Four of them have been playing in A grade and A reserve, which has helped as well.”
Meanwhile, Russells Creek will be striving for its first 13 and under netball flag when it takes on Old Collegians in the 9am grand final.
