The Gardiner Dairy Foundation has awarded scholarships to four south-west dairy farmers as part of its flagship Farm Business Management Program (FBMP).
The FBMP is managed and fully funded by the Gardiner Dairy Foundation, in partnership with Victorian Regional Development Programs, and aims to develop the business management and leadership skills of Victorian dairy farmers.
Tania Luckin of Heywood, Eddie Dwyer of Hawkesdale and Liam Ryan of Grassmere have been awarded Institute of Business Owners (IBO) – Owner Manager Program scholarships.
Alistair Harris of Larpent has been awarded a Rabobank Executive Development Program (EDP) scholarship.
Gardiner Dairy Foundation chief executive Mary Harney said the scholarships provided recipients with valuable development opportunities that would benefit the Victorian dairy industry as well as help them better manage their farms’ futures.
