The former South West TAFE teacher is exhibiting a selection of his pieces at Hoppy’s Cafe on Liebig Street until next August.
“The idea is to support these guys during the roadworks,” he said. “There’s not too many places that can fit a 10-metre painting inside and the coffee here is good too.”
Cafe manager Shane Annett said the art had become a talking point since its installation last week.
“It’s a great opportunity to showcase a local artist,” he said. “It’s been good that people have stayed for a three-hour coffee and still seen something new in the paintings the next day.”
