A fourth-quarter lapse proved costly for Greater Western Victoria Rebels on Saturday, giving up a one-point lead to lose 12.5 (77) to 15.14 (104) as Gippsland Power thundered home. Cobden’s Trent Reed was among the Rebels’ best, collecting 19 disposals and laying eight tackles. Koroit’s Ethan McLaren finished with 17 disposals, Terang Mortlake’s Scott Carlin had 16 and Portland’s Keegan Gray had 10.
