The driver was travelling on Penshurst-Warrnambool road when the incident occurred at about 6pm.
Acting Sargeant Andrew McOrist from Koroit Police said the landowner had lost three to four ewes. “The driver has not seen the stock on the road sign and collected some sheep,” he said. “The front of the car is stuffed. It’ll probably be a write-off.”
The CFA had been notified to clean the road.
